Cathric Properties, whew stay away from them, who claim to have 35+ years in the real estate industry but are absolutely unprofessional. Cathy called me to say she had a signed offer to purchase for my Amazimtoti flat, only to call me later and say the buyer had retracted their offer. After explaining to her that an OTP is a steadfast legal obligation by the buyer as per the signing and acceptance from me the buyer, she then tried to tell me otherwise..that the buyer had called the bank to cancel their loan application. However she previously told us that they were pre-approved for 1 million rands.The buyers wanted her to let out the flat for holiday letting and without doing her due diligence on holiday letting prices in the area, she told them they couldn't get that price..and they backed out of the sale. She later in the day, after me explaining that she gave them incorrect info, sent me msgs that she would now try to win them back. This lady doesn't know whether she wants to sell or be a rental agent. When I questioned her skills, she told me that she has 35yrs experience which led me to find complaints about her professional conduct online. Dubious, absolutely no idea about legalities and property law so I want make others aware others. I also sent her screen****s of other complaints against her and her company and she said she would use my info against Paul, who had complained about her. To me, you can be in an industry for 100yrs but if your reputation is questionable, you are being accused of ***** or withholding funds etc..it just confirms the red flags I already picked up and for me, this is proof. Safe to say though, I immediately terminated the services of Cathric Property and Cathy.
