10....chassis dirty ...
10....chassis dirty underneath...used for 4x4 jaunts....11...k was told my vacuum pump was perished AND that was to cost 3.5 k...a brand pump k replaced 2YEARS back....i was told my steering box is shot and will require replacing at R15k.....i drove home 40km...500metres from entrance..steering wheel started shuddering....upon inspection...my ATF fluid unit was empty...i replenished with 330ml.....upon calling RODNEY. He said it can be because the steering box is damaged.....since topping up..i have completed over 500km

S.A Landy. Trying to get rich quick
A couple of weeks ago i bought a concentric clutch slave cylinder for a 2003 Land Rover Freelander TD4. Paid R1800. That same day i priced a Clutch Master Cylinder for the same vehicle, they quoted me R450 including vat for a 2nd hand unit. Today i phoned them & they charging R700 excl vat. I asked them what make it was, he was unsure as its was somewhere in their storage yard. When i told him they quoted me R450 last week, he said that the unit in question was in slightly in better condition than the one of a week ago. Now he never knew what make it was how on earth could he have known its slightly newer. They have done this numerous times before.
