I am deeply disappointed in the SACPCMP and the level of service provided, especially considering how much we pay for registration and reinstatement.
On 5 March 2025, I noticed a new 2025/2026 CHSM invoice had been loaded onto my profile shortly after I paid for the reinstatement bundle and submitted all necessary documents. Believing this meant my reinstatement had been successful, I called and spoke to Ketty Thantsha, who confirmed (both verbally and in writing) that once payment was made, I would receive my certificate on 1 April 2025.
I paid the R4680 invoice as instructed. However, after weeks of no response and repeated failed attempts to reach anyone, I was finally told by Phindile Sithole (on 1 April 2025) that I am still deregistered, and my documents are only now being reviewed. Apparently, the invoice was a mistake, and I am now blocked from the system — despite having paid in full.
This is the second time I’ve been misled by SACPCMP staff. The first time, I was told no help could be given because I didn’t have the miscommunication “in writing.” This time, I ensured I got written confirmation, yet I’m still left in limbo.
Meanwhile, when it comes to sending invoices and collecting payments, SACPCMP is incredibly fast. But once you’ve paid? There’s no assistance, no accountability, and absolutely no urgency — even when your job is on the line.
This treatment is unacceptable, especially from a professional council that charges thousands of rands to hard-working people. Many of us are at risk of losing employment due to these delays, and it's clear that the system is more focused on making money than supporting professionals.
To everyone out there — what’s your experience? Are we just funding a money-making scheme while struggling to survive?
