Exchanged my Scope Mounts hassle free. Bought the correct Mounts for Scope and Gun. Had the Scope fitted and bore sighted with ease and professionalism. Also received Awesome clientele service from the Floor Manager. Thanks Alfred and Tyler. Much appreciated.

Walked out from a near R10k ammo sale. Pathetic sales staff and unfriendly customer attitude. So many alternative gun stores available and to choose from. I definitely won’t be visiting the Boksburg branch again.

Wow Safari Outdoor you really are clueless. So let me understand this correctly... I get ****med by someone that saw my adverti*****t on your app and my account gets banned? I was not informed by Safari or even asked what happend?! The guy refuses to pay me for courier service and I get banned? What did I do wrong Safari? Did I not package his items correctly or was the courier service to slow?? This is unbelievable.

Worst customer service ever. Avoid at all cost, rather spend your hard earned money somewhere els. Had to exchange a short for wrong size, did had the same short anymore took something els. Nee shirt was cheaper gave an voucher for the balance, which is against the consumer act. Anyways when 3 times to the store on different occasions cant find correct size. There is staff on the floor but on the first occasion she was too busy chatting and vaping in the store with her boyfriend. I left , on the second and third attempt also staff on the floor bit too busy discussing their weekend to assist an client. Not sure why there is floor staff needed there because they are of no assistance. Will never shop here again. Nelspruit store, but see its the same poor service everywhere according to reviews. Wished I read reviews before my shopping.

Worst customer service ever. Avoid at all cost, rather spend your hard earned money somewhere els. Had to exchange a short for wrong size, did had the same short anymore took something els. Wish I read the reviews before placing an order. Absolutely the worst online store full of promises and apologies but no products. There is NO communication when placing the order. The only proof of the order is Paygate that sends proof of payment. AVOID THEM

Last Saturday 4 days ago I bought book for a friend on the Botswana border as a present only to find that he already has the book. Today I phoned Safari Outdoor Pretoria to ask them if i could exchange the book for another book when i next pass the shop probably in 2 weeks time. To be told by a lady who must ranks amongst the lowest PR ratings that exist - that Safari Outdoor Policy is that an item has to be returned within 7 days full stop! Well that kind of counts me out as to travel from the Botswana Border to Pretoria to exchange a book costing around R250 would not make sense!! I explained this to the lady and got the same dull monotone bullish answer. So Safari Outdoor can have my R250 and in the process lose me as a potential good customer looking to buy the top of the range Zeiss Binocular (spoke to Zain) and other goods. This kind of business template does not make sense at all . All in all the shop has excellent customer service and goods but if this is their attitude re a faulty purchase then they lose me as a customer as this is totally unreasonable - and good luck to them. Imagine if it were an expensive item?? - Safari Outdoor totally unreasonable attitude which spoils it for me from the base. Ill buy elsewhere

I ordered a few items online on the 14th of February, once ordered, I received a confirmation of payment from the payment gateway (Payfast). After four days without any confirmation or update from SO, I checked my order online, and the status was "Processing" and under payment it stated that the full payment was still due. I then sent an email to info@so.co.za giving the details of my order. No response. So I phoned SO Krugersdorp, as my order was meant to be shipped there. I spoke to Mark, he said that he didn't know about my order, but he will find out and phone me back. After 3 days of no contact, I sent another email via the safarioutdoor.co.za contact form, no response, and I phoned the Krugersdorp branch again. This time Mark wasn't available and I spoke to another lady. She said that she was aware of my order, and that she will phone me back. She didn't. After another 2 days I decided to phone SO head office and explained the situation. Mark phoned me back that same day and explained that the order is still being shipped from SO Nelspruit. Then I suddenly received an email response stating that there was a feedback complication from SO Krugersdorp and that the items are being shipped from SO Stellenbosch. I am utterly dissatisfied with Safari Outdoor's lack of communication and poor service. I am still waiting for my order or any update as to its arrival.
