We relocated from Pretoria to Cape Town at the end June 2016, and we thought that by employing SAMOVZ from Cape Town to do our furniture removal all will be in order. Maybe in hindsight, when I was told by Delia that no on site inspection can be done to establish the size of the Move, it should have ringed alarm bells for me, but in good faith we carried on.

The communication between Delia/Neil and ourselves was perfect, until our monies were paid in. Then all communication was seized from SAMOVZ` side.

On our packing day, a JHB Company KEYMOVES arrived to do our move and not SAMOVZ. This was 9 am in the morning and at 4 pm, I realised that they will not fit all our furniture in and I called Delia at SAMOVZ . She told me she was thinking of me the whole day, and wanted to know how it was going. She apparantly had no idea that the truck was too small to fit our stuff in, and nobody from KEYMOVES informed her either,,, ?Eventually after numerous calls and frustration, a second truck was ordered to pick up the balance of the furniture and they only finished at 8 pm. Our furniture, as contracted was supposed to be delivered in Cape Town on Sunday 3 July, so we waited for the truck to arrive at our new home. At about 10 am Sunday, I phoned Delia and Neil`s phone to inquire when the truck will arrive, and there was no reply. Fortunately I took the number of the driver of KEYMOVES and I took a chance and phoned him. He told me he was in PE at that stage and as scheduled, will deliver the furniture on Monday as arranged. He said they never deliver on a Sunday in any case. So SAMOVZ knew from day one that the furniture will arrive on Monday and not Sunday as agreed, and decided not to inform us,,,absolutely poor service ,,,,No communication from Neil at all, untill Sunday very late, a single sms from Neil reached me to say that the truck is now in Mosselbay. Neil and Delia decided to use texting messages instead of telephonic calls to communicate with us. Monday the truck arrives with the first load but our second load is nowhere to be found. Neil sent me a sms and informed me that he he cannot locate the driver and the whole thing is out of his CONTROL,,,,,wow after I paid him R29,000 that what he says,,,,, Our second load were eventually located and was delivered on Tuesday. Luckily there were not too much damage to our property. If I knew that SAMOVZ were going to subcontract my load, I would have never given them the job to do in the first place.

Delia and Neil are very nice to deal with telephonically but in the moving and logistic business you need to keep track of your loads and keep your customers informed at all times, that is not negotiable.

I will never recommend this Company to anybody
