I wouldn’t give this any stars if it was an option. Workers are rude, USELESS, and know absolutely nothing. They laugh at you, physically kick you out, and there’s nobody in power there to help. They prove their racism in so many ways. They don’t have numbers or answers. Worst experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

There's literally no lines but I've been here for 3 hours. Workers busy doing ups and downs and talking but not working. Everything Government is just not okay

The worst disgusting department you can get. Pathetic is not the word. Being standing a hour without moving a step forward. Whites and old people have to stand and wait. If young and chest is hanging out, you are let through. No separation of applications, everyone standa in 1 que. PATHETIC AND DISGUSTING. WORST EVER.

I just came back from confirming my booking at the Sandton DLTC. The place is a lil confusing.. there's no way of knowing where or who to talk to when you arrive as the reception desk was empty but woman who sat by the door was really friendly and she told us where to go. After filling in forms I then did my eye test and I thank God that I was assisted by such a nice and friendly gentleman (Mr EB Cassim). My boyfriend wasn't that fortunate.. He was assisted by a VERY impatient white guy who sat next to EB Cassim. Before my boyfriend's turn he kept telling the previous guy "Where is the E pointing now?, I can't keep asking you this." I mean even I was nervous before/during the test. Imagine being helped by someone who raises his voice at you. This is why I am rating the experience 4/5 stars. S/O to the examiner (EB Cassim), guys like you make the world a better place!

Just a quick share - once I finally managed to book an appointment to renew my driver's license , the process was truly quick and painless . In at 8 AM , after standing in line from 7.15 AM , I was in the car and on the way out by 8.28 AM . This would have been a 5 Star experience , save for the lady who did my capturing and fingerprints etc. being a shade grumpy .
