I made a booking via Booking.com and whenever i have an issue to raise with the hotel they would always refer me to Booking.com as the channel through which i must communicate with them. I booked two apartments with them on the 2nd of December 2023 and immediately transferred R1500 to secure the booking and send the proof of payment and again on the 9th of December 2022 i transferred R1500 and send them proof of payment and few days before the check in date, some people canceled because of reasons beyond their control and of the two apartments i had to cancel one and remain with one, that i did through Booking.com because i tried with the hotel and again i was referred to Booking.com. On the 30th of December 2022 as i was journeying to the destination, i encountered car problems and conveyed the message through Booking.com that i cannot make the check in on the day and indicated that i will check in the next day. The next day i woke up to the email that said my booking got canceled because of 'noshow" and the money i paid has been directed towards cancelation fee. This is a scam because i couln't stay @ their property due to what i never anticipated and i lost my money in the process. I need to get back my money.

The service was poor,we had no props for basins and bathroom and the place is dirty and smells very bad..The fridge is old no cuttleryand not enough plates and pots.When we went to reception to complain the manager said if i am not happy i must go stay at holiday inn.Worst place ever i would not recommend it to anyone

I'm writing you this while I'm in one of their rooms,they advertised their place out of lies,the way is advertised is nice&that's why I fell for it and booked because its apartments and less and because my kids pleaded with me to take them to durban,on arrival when I entered the room it was clean but there were ****roaches and I went at reception to ask them to give me another room but they send eco-pest to spray while inside the room I refused because it was unhealthy to spray chemicals for my kids while there,so they decided to put powder but still ****roaches are still here,I even went to buy myself doom so that I can try to **** them just imagine what I'm going through with my kids,the employees are very good and helpful, our clothes are still in the bags&I cant buy food even their utensils are filthy,sticky etc,i would not advise people to book here it's not a good place at all period

So Seaboard was recommended by a family friend and because we trust them we booked ourselves in February for accommodation for a week in December. Everything was paid up and we arrived in Seaboard on the 20th of December in the morning (typing this while in their apartment). We went to our apartment and it was infested with ****roaches and bed bugs. Before we even put our bags down we went down to the reception to complain about the ****roaches and asked them to change our room. They did no such, instead then sent maintainance to come and work on the ****roaches while we were in the room. The place is appalling and extremely dirty. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. We have to sleep with earplugs in to avoid roaches. The staff is very friendly and do not deserve to work for such a disgusting place. We are happy when we are outside the room and we dread coming back. It’s exhausting having to select clothes from your travel bag everyday because we are scared the roaches will do as they please. This place must just be shut down, it’s no place for people to live in!

Pathetic! Shocking customer service, with unhelpless staff. I have booked in on the 13th May 2019 For the 29 December 2019 and I’ve selected an option for paying later, but three days later they deducted money from my account without my permission and that wasn’t our agreement. I then cancelled my booking yet I haven’t got my money back. I called them as soon as i realised that they took money from my account and they took ages to pick up,eventually a lady called Sinenhlanhla picked up and she was not of help, Telling me that the lady in finance is off sick and she cannot help me. I want my money back!????????????

Firstly your staff is incompetent,i called yesterday the whole flipping day with no one answering the phone and finally when someone answers they drop the call not once not twice bt countless times..i was able to get the email address for the banking details of which again i was sent incorrect banking details and i took my petrol drove to the mall with the wrong account and with my petrol all because of your incompetency,Its my first time there and i havent even came there already im unhappy with your service.I have been checking your reviews but i chose to give you the benefit of the doubt but you proved me right.YOUR SERVICE IS VERY POOR AND IM A VERY IRATE AND UNHAPPY CUSTOMER EVEN WHEN I HAVEN'T BEEN AT THE HOTEL..Hire new staff or train them properly also train about customer service..Your staff doesn't care about your customer how do they chase away customers? Im very angry..Who is going to reimburse me my petrol money that i wasted all because people dont want to work yet they at work..I need this sorted please someone get back to me im very very unhappy
