<div>Securewise Automation solutions advertises energy back up systems with certain components very clearly specified in the ad. When you order this system specifically, they send a quote with codes referring to the components only (no reference to the specifics on their ad). They then come and install something different to what they advertised and what you asked for. And they normally enclose their product in steel box, so it is not easily picked up to be different. In my case, they did not have the steel box in stock, so when the system failed to perform as expected, closer inspection revealed that the advertised components are not installed. We ended up with half the power as compared to their ad. Upon raising this topic, the owner, Richard, just said the advert was a copy and paste mistake. The codes on the quotes is what he actually installs. He refuse to take any responsibility for the false advertising or honour the advertised product, despite us now being short on back up power. He was even willing to compromise or meet us halfway to the advertised back up power. He insisted that I should have interpreted the (undescriptive) code on the quote as being something else than advertised. I suspect they have been running this scam of advertising one thing, installing another and getting away with it because they enclose the product in a steel box normally. They also advertise and sell other home security products in Port Elizabeth - the average man in the street is seldom in position to make a judgement call based on technical codes of these products only. Be very aware!!</div>
