Unhappy Customer, Product in question
We purchased a basin, and shortly after receiving and installing it, the basin cracked. We contacted Seedleme, and Mat assisted us. We also visited their site in Cape Town, but they did not have stock available at the time. We had to wait until after the holiday period for new stock to arrive and be shipped to us in Bloemfontein. Note that we already installed marble countertops in our kitchen. These had to be removed again before we could install the replacement basin. This process took approximately five months. Unfortunately, after using the new basin only once, it cracked again in more than one place. I have since emailed and sent WhatsApp messages to the supplier, but they have not responded regarding the costs we incurred for removing and reinstalling the full marble slab, or a refund or any suggestions on what to do with a cracked basin. Now, the marble will have to be removed once again to source and fit a new basin—one with the same specifications as the current one, as the tap holes have already been cut into the marble.

Cracked Bath
We were carrying out alterations in 2024 and decided to go for a rustic bathroom. Searched online and came across Seedleme professional website. We made payment (EFT) for bath and basin. We visited the factory in Joostenberg Vlakte. They didnt had a bath in stock and advised they are working on a different (ie thinner design/mould) for which ours would be the first. The new bath cracked when they took it from the mould so was forced to take the thicker bath which were cast at the same time, which wasn't a real issue at the time. The bath is very heavy and we needed to get a rigging company in November 2024 to lift the bath to my first floor bathroom. We took all necessary care to get it into final position with the rigging company and Contractor. In January 2025 we noticed the bath started to crack from top to bottom and the crack is spreading. The first response from Matt was that the bath was dropped.(which is 100% not the case as I, as the owner were witnessing every installation phase). Matt also engaged with SIKA to repair the bath. If it cannot be proofed that the bath was dropped, why should I share the cost for reparations to a new bath? At no stage, except, after the defect he mentioned they could claim this via insurance if Seedleme delivered it. This was never discussed prior to our purchase. Note, no transport procedure, no installation procedure, no estimate of the weight of the bath, was provided. Note that the dirt road is very bad in the Joostenberg vlakte area of their facility. I would not buy this bath from my experience and stick to what is available from the big retailers for their tested products and return and after sales policy.

I purchased a Large Cement Grey double concrete kitchen butler basin from Seedleme. Customer service was great via the Leroy Merlin online store, and delivery was made ahead of schedule. The product fitted perfectly and is a central feature in our kitchen. After a period I noticed a small crack and contacted Seedleme directly. After numerous discussions and suggestions offered, they committed to supplying a new sink. This was shipped hassle free and with no effort needed from me. Great product, great service. I will be back! Cameron

Bad Investment
What a pity that I have to give a negative review to such a smart product. My beautiful sink arrived and I could not install it immediately. Three weeks later (before installation) I noticed a hairline crack (typical mould-stress crack?) down the right hand corner running towards the drain-hole. Seedleme did not respond to my online communication via their comment facility on their website, which made me wonder - Have I touched a nerve?!

Bad Investment
What a pity that I have to give a negative review to such a smart product. My beautiful sink arrived and I could not install it immediately. Shocking experience with Seedleme
I am in the in the interiors business and have never had such poor service delivery from my own sector. I ordered two concrete basins from Matt, and even though I did not mind it being unique and "rustic", it arrived chipped and marked - and most importantly once plumbed in, water pooled in the base because it does not drain to the hole due to a faulty mould. I contacted Matt multiple times - he was rude and unhelpful and wanted me to pay for getting it returned and replaced. I asked him multiple times over the course of 6 weeks to replace it - and he refused to assist further, without me having to pay to take it out by plumbers, send it back at my own cost (despite having paid for delivery) . His items were clearly faulty, i had sent him a plumbers report and photos, and still he did not tend to it. He then threatened to write a review on my own business, if I exposed him, despite never having provided a service to him. The second basin , which was my brother's , we asked for a refund, as it was never plumbed in, he never responded, multiple times. I would never recommend Seedleme to anyone. Very poor customer service and their products do not match their images, and also the basins do not drain to the hole. So, 6 months later, I now sit with a sink that pools water in a guest house , and no solution as the kitchen island counters was cut especially for this bespoke sink.

Seedleme Bonsai Grow Kit
Purchased the bonsai grow kit. Firstly there are no instructions included. Tried to search online but couldn't find anything Finally got a response from them regarding instructions and was sent a link to a random site about the plant, not instructions of the kit purchased. Was so looking forward to this kit but sadly disappointed

Seedleme - Great service
I had built a new kitchen and googled prices on concrete basin to enhance my newly built kitchen. After browsing numerous options, I came upon Seedleme and saw that their basins are basically half the price of all the other companies, however, they were in Western Cape and i am in Pretoria. I made contact with Matt who was amazingly pleasant, I chose the basin which I thought was the right one, and within 1 day I had my basin. Wow not even Take a Lot is as speedy. Anyway, I realised that I had chosen the incorrect colour, and contacted Matt again. To my surprise Matt had sent a courier company to me the very next day to collect, and a day later I had the second choice basin that I had ordered. Obviously the courier fees were for my account the second time, but they were dirt cheap. So to sum it up... I have nothing but praise for Seedleme and the way that Matt had accomodated me. What a pleasure, . I will do business with them anytime again.
