ABSOLUTELY FILTHY AND THEY MAKE CLIENTS HOLD THE HAIR PIECE

The salon (Musgrave branch) was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!!!! Hair, dust, dirt and other debris all over the floor. The table and chair was dirty. The towel that the stylist put on my shoulders was damp and smelled awful. The hair dryer and other tools were dirty and sticky. When the stylist opened the drawer to get some tools the drawer was disorganised and full of dust and the more filthy tools. The hairstylist’s share the same brush/comb with multiple clients without cleaning it. The stylist was not gentle with my hair and burned my scalp as she used the highest heat setting and she brushed my hair super hard. I saw others use a gross looking tooth brush to do peoples edges. Lastly I saw multiple girls holding the hair piece when they were getting their braids done - how are you charging clients approx a thousand rands to do braids but making them hold the hair piece?!! I was expecting a fantastic experience based on the pics on IG but was incredibly disappointed to come to an ABSOLUTELY FILTHY environment. Do better, sies.
