Disappointed
I got married in September 2015. I asked Shakil to cover the wedding and walima which was fully paid for in advance. He promised delivery of media within two weeks. Three months later he provided us with discs of our videos. It's been 6 months and he still hasn't given us our albums. He ignored my emails, messages and phone calls. Yesterday I discovered that he has opened up a new company in dubai under the name LEILA MEDIA PRODUCTIONS. On this new company website he posted our wedding pictures. I sent him a message requesting him to remove it and also to inform me about my albums that were paid for. He removed the pictures but didn't respond with regards to my albums, disappointed.

Disappointed

Bad experience and no delivery
I requested a quote from Mr. Shakil Farooq last year for wedding photography package. My wife and I accepted the quote and paid 75% of the payment. After the wedding, we received a few pics online. We then proceeded to pay the remaining 25% of the payment, as requested. At this point matters took a wrong turn, we struggled to get in contact with Shakil. We eventually got the wedding photography and video, on a few discs. We had to select pics for our album, in which Shakil will format and send to printing (all in which will take up to 20 days and with our consent). We did what was instructed by him and sent the selected pics. After this, we could not get hold of Shakil to follow up on the album at all, many e-mails, whatapps, messages and phone calls were made to get hold of him... Today we are 5 months married and still without a wedding album that we paid for and was promised and a video we not totally satisfied with. We honored our obligations fully towards Shakil and he did not, he totally ignores us now and has left this whole wedding photography experience in a bad taste. We are extremely disappointed in him and how he is conducting his business!

Pathetic Wedding Photographer
Mr Farooq and his associates were booked to cover my wedding held on the 28th of February 2015. I briefed him in several emails and in person as to the customs of a muslim wedding and impressed on him the importance of the nikaah cermony. He missed the nikaah and only arrived for the wedding portion. No table shots were taken of the guests attending the wedding. He promised delivery of media within a 2week period after the function. I only received raw media 4 months after the function. He has never edited the photos and video supplied and the quality was pathetic. He has also subsequently never delivered a photobook or youtube clips as promised. Highly disappointed and he has never responded to any calls or emails from me.
