Stolen car

On July 1, 2019, Lucas Snyman from Shawn's towing and Recovery also known as Dew Auto Service in Mountin View fetched our car a VW Polo to repair. On the 2nd of July he calls to say that the car is ready he wants to leave the car at his workshop to see if he easily starts the next morning. Then he will just take take the car out to see if he's driving right. We get a call on the morning of July 3 to let us know that my vehicle was stolen. He now stands at Pretoria North Police Stationto open a case because he wanted to take our car to one of his friends to put the car on machines to set him up and when he got outside the car was stolen. Each time whe contacted him he had a different story. He says he lost a lot too because some of his machines were also in the car. He does not want to give us his insurance name or policy number. We went to the address he gave where the vehicle was stolen and talked to the people there. According to them, they don't know Lucas at all and they have never put vehicles on machines. They rent trailers. Lucas was there to rent a trailer. To this day, he did not come to us and apologize for lying to us.
