What's happening at Jansens Meat Market? I have been a customer for decades and in recent months I have noticed a dramatic reduction in quality, choice and price increases far above inflation. I regularly purchase Eland products and the prices have risen by 20% since last week. How can they justify such a massive increase? I never thought I would see the day when Checkers Hyper was less expensive than Jansens for venison. When will the greed end and how much money is enough?

I'm am only giving the 2 star due to the customer service received from Gogo Mdlalo. The attitude I received 29 Aug at 16:43:25 was very bad. I complained about the pricing of their so good yellow curry coock in source. The price on the shelf is 14:00 and on the till is 17.50. I questioned why they are not.fixing their prices as it was not the first time I complained about this. I further showed her the photo I snapped on the shelf. The response I got from the cashier is that if I do not want to pay on the till price. I asked if that was the way sheads resolve or handle quires, she responded by instructing her colleague seating behind her to take out the price tag from the shelf which she eventually did. I paid and I left as I was in a hurry on the day. A customer has a right to get the item on shelf price but this was not the case and it was not the first time

No customer care...I brought back rotten meat no attend to it , I then called the manager she told me when is very busy the employees won't attend u ,I should come the next day

THE BUTCHERY IS VERY BUSY TIMES LIKE MONTHEND YOU HAVE TO EXPECT THAT YOU WILL WAIT ON THE QUE, I'M NO LONGER STAYING IN THE SOUTH BUT STILL DRIVE GOING THERE. THE QUALITY OF SERVICE, CLEAN AND MEAT IT SAYS COME BACK FOR MORE. THE SECURITY FROM THE DOOR DON'T TOLERATE SILY GAMES EVERY ONE IS SPECIAL AT THIS BUTCHERY, WE ALL JOIN THE QUE. TGE TEAM TRY THE BEST ALWAYS.

It's still amazing just how clean this butchery is, they don't wait for after hours to clean, they're always scrubbing the floors, scrubbing the machines and stuff. The stuff is friendly and always ready to help. the prices are reasonable and their meat is fresh. It gets full at times, but the amazing stuff keeps the queues moving. That's premium service.

Worst customer service. I will have to find another place were I can buy meat. On the 1 May 2023 I went to Shead's butchery in Southgate to buy meat.And when I got there the queue was at the entrance, because it was busy, after standing in the queuecfor 25 minutes to order the meat at the butchery. I'm told that there is no boere wors. I must wait for another 10 minutes. The gentleman who was assisting came back after 10 minutes of waiting to say that the team that is responsible for making the wors is not willing to stop making the pork wors, even though there pork work was over full in the fridge. I asked for the manager. I saw him calling the manager, who just looked at me, and completely ignored me and continued with what he was doing, which is terrible. To the owner of the business if you really care about your business. You should start employing people who will look after your business.

Poor service, the staff is short. You wait in the queue twice. You wait 30min outside and 1 hour inside. Very poor service
