I have been a Vodacom customer for years, but I am extremely disappointed with how my recent SIM card ***** case has been handled. My number +27 72 800 8777 was compromised due to SIM ***** — not once, but more than once. Despite sending all the requested documents and following the required process, I received little to no response from Vodacom’s ***** team. I have sent multiple emails and still have not had my issue resolved. Being outside the country has made the situation worse, as I am unable to make calls or access important services linked to my number. It is very concerning that SIM ***** keeps happening on the same account, and yet Vodacom has not taken stronger measures to protect its customers or provide timely assistance. I expected far better support and accountability from such a major service provider. Unless Vodacom addresses these serious lapses in security and customer service, I cannot recommend them to anyone who values their privacy and communication.
