. I am writing to express my disappointment and seek assistance regarding a recurring issue with my Sinotec TV. In 2020, I purchased a TV that initially worked perfectly. However, last year it started giving me problems. I took it to Makro, where I bought it, and it was sent for repair. Although it was fixed, the same issue reoccurred three months later. Once again, it was repaired, but the problem persisted. I have repeatedly communicated that I need a new TV since the current one continues to give me problems shortly after being fixed. Unfortunately, no one has taken the initiative to help me with this. Last week, the TV exhibited the same issue again. When I took it to Makro, I was informed that the TV is now out of warranty and that I should contact Sinotec directly. However, I was told that there is nothing that can be done.

I've bought a number of 32" and 39" Sinotec TV's over the years and they have all performed very well. Recently bought a 42" as a gift and no problems. I've never actually dealt with Sinotec but their products seem to be great from my experience.

Needed a remote for my TV, from the start Elizabeth Motaung was an absolute star. Very professional. As there was no stock available she said she will find one and call me back. A few hours later she called back and had the correct remote available for me. How refreshing to have someone actually do a fantastic job! Thank you to Elizabeth!

I bought this 50" smart tv about 3 weeks ago now, it's the worst piece of **** I have ever experienced, I tried to return it to Takealot but they took too long. Sinotec has disappointed me

Purchased a sinotec 32wg6a tv from Makro, it's now 4 or 5 times that I have been back to book the unit for repairs for the same issue of the back light being dim, they cannot replace as they will send in for same repair, what a piece of junk

I purchased a 50 inch led tv through takealot in November 2020 for R5989. Sinotec advertise all their led tv's as having a 5 year warranty. After about a month there was a problem, takealot said 'not our problem, contact the supplier' to discover that it was app**** by Wall St. Technology pty ltd and not takealot although bought on my takealot account. After much discussion Wall St. arranged collection, and it was eventually repaired and returned to me in Cape Town. Now it is 2024, the TV is dead and the warranty is still valid until November 2024. Sinotec say Wall St. do not have an account with them and as takealot are not the suppliers they just ignore me and will not honor their 5 year warranty. The main reason I chose Sinotec was because it had a 5 year warranty. Terrible customer service, don't reply to correspondence. If I could give them no stars that would be more accurate.
