I handed my TAB in at the Samsung Smart Centre, when I wanted to collect my TAB there was a notice on the branch that they are closed and we have a phone a certain number. When I contacted them my TAB was at SSS Cellular in the East rand and I am from the west rand. They send me a new quotation as they still did not fix it by that time. After I accepted it, they repaired it. I requested them to deliver it as the east rand is so far from where I gave it in for repairs which by the way the never told me that they will be closing down. After they said they want the payment first, I send them proof and everyday they send me from this one to that one and say they are waiting for Samsung, and I still don't know when I will receive my TAB but the payment had to be made immediately

So I took my samsung Note 5 in for an in warranty battery replacement and first without asking me for proof of purchase I was told that there is a service fee. Once that was sorted i was told my phone will be booked in and assessed and they will let me know the outcome of the assessment. Now bear in mind my phone was fully functional with the only problem being that my battery lasts only about half a day. I then call the centre yesterday where I am told that there will be a charge of R1881 to replace the battery, SUB PBA a service kit and labour. I would like to know where these technicians get their qualifications? Even if there was a bit of moisture inside the phone, it was and is still fully functional. Where do they get off telling me that my phone is water damaged? I would like this matter to be investigated please. All I wanted was for my battery to be replaced under the manufacturers warranty and now I am charged R500 for a new battery.

I was promised to have my phone back within 3 days from the centre as my phone is my business tool. I use it on a daily basis to do business and without it I lose deals, business and alot of money. The Samsung centre have taken more than 3 days already and not even ordered the relevant parts for the phone. They have no further information when I enquire detail as to why. I am absolutely disappointed and have always used a samsung phone. As a business man for a large IT Company, i am now competely steering away from samsung products due to the bad and appauling service received. Our phones have become tools of business for us and service providers as well as manufacturers need to ackowledge this in their post sales service as well as repair services.

My S6 edge plus's sim slot did not want to close after I did a sim swap on Tuesday the 3rd of January, i then decided to take it in that afternoon to Samsung's smart care center in constantia aloof JHB. The lady told me that there's the assessment fee which I was glad to pay. She also told me that id be contacted with a quote to fix the phone as the phone is out of warranty... which is surprising as the phone was bought from FNB in august 2016. Then on the 9th of January 2017 I received an email asking me to either accept or decline the quote attached and that it is quite urgent. So I opened it up and well got quite the surprise of a repair bill of R 3864. Which seems outrageous for a sim slot repair. So I replied back declining the quote and also got there the same afternoon to pick it up only having to wait 15 min because the phone was still in pieces. So I waited paid the assessment fee and left. Got home and under close inspection I picked up a few things that I know shouldn't be the way it. number one scratches on the side of the frame of the phone at the back (probably from when they opened it) but still unacceptable. The back over of the phone is not aligned with the phones frame. And a piece of paper seems to be lodged in the sim slot. Which was odd. The small crack above the speaker of the phone I know of as I caused that but the scratches at the back of the phone can't be as since I bought the phone its been in a cover to protect it.

I'd like to know how Samsung will handle this situation as I find it quite unreasonable for the repair amount and also quite unacceptable the way I received my phone back.
