Good day I was recently approached by a company trading as Smart legal clearance. They claimed to be a debt consolidation company that can help anybody. As we have a baby on the way, I thought this might help to save up some money for the medical bills. They told me everything would be sorted out by their team, and all I had to do was sign a couple of forms. It was explained to me that they would start handling everything from the date of the first payment and that they have everything under control. The second payment went off, and they have done nothing. My bank did not receive anything from their side at all. I have been trying to get in contact with them for three weeks now, and they keep telling me that someone will call me, but that is if they decide to pick up the phone. They seem to be registered with the NCR, but they do not follow the guidelines.
