Snappy Water Bottle

Hello - Is there anyone else having a problem with their Snappy Water Bottles? I have the Snappy Tritan Green 1.2 litre and if I do not rinse it out thoroughly weekly, the water turns a blue colour and there are thick particles floating in the bottle presumably forming on the sides and inside of the lid of the bottle. Quite chunky! It does say BPA free underneath the bottle. I only fill it with Filtered Water.
