I do not recommend using or purchasing any solar goods from Power Vault Solar or Solar Squad. They seem to trade under both business names. Henk the owner who also does the instalation does not really understand the systems. He hires out subs who instal the system and he is just a face to the business. He did an instalation by us which we thought was done professionally. After instalation he had to call out an electrician to sign off on the instalation and he would not issue a COC as the electrics where not up to standard to run the system through. The COC was included when he quoted and obviously he did not know what was required when quoting. This cost and extra R10k above all else that was already paid. Of course needing safety first electrics had to be updated and all new wiring had to be done. I then need also needed pictures of the panels for complex regulations which he then had to come back to send me. Looking at them I could see damages on the panels and asked him what it was. his reply was it is water marks. It did not rain for weeks before or after instalation in December. He then also only connected the grounding on this day. If he was not called out it would not have been done and any surge would have caused huge problems and posibly a fire. Therefore I called out another contractor to check and take photos and videos. The panels have clear damage and not water marks. His workers also stood on the ceiling and damage it by almost making a hole. He said he would send his sub out as he stood on it and had to fix it. This never happened. After numerous times trying to contact Henk, sending messages and seeing he read them and giving him enough time to respond. He finally responded he is going to do nothing and I must take soap and water and he said this would remove the scratches on the panels. The arrogance after service after paying with no problems and no complaints this is the service a person gets from his company. Clearly he is in it for the quick buck and that is all. Do not expect service or knowledge as this is the last thing you will get. Rather go direct to where the importers are Solar Europe Google them. Go there find pricing and they will direct you to reputable installers. I hope this helps the next person to not end up in the same situation as us.

Solar and Power installed our solar in 2022, and still, to this day, when I contact Rupert, he knows exactly who I am. The quality of the products they use and the installers' experience are impeccable. I highly recommend Rupert and the team to anyone looking to install solar.

New install, upgrade and move, they did it all for me, every time with excellent service. After sales service also no problem

The owners are super-knowledgeable on Solar and actively involved in the day-to-day business. The lead technician on our installation, Thabani (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) was very competent and well trained (by the co-owner, a qualified engineer). The cabling work was neat, and the guys were a pleasure to work with. I prefer to deal with a business who treat their staff well and develop employees who show potential and interest. In my experience this company fits this description.

I have been uncertain about moving to solar for some time. Solar and Power took the time to clarify all my questions and I've had a super positive experience using them for my installation.
