Reliable, Friendly, and Professional Service
Excellent service from Solar Guru! Solar Guru truly went above and beyond to help us. They went out of their way on a Saturday morning to install our geyser, and thanks to them we had hot water again. The whole family could enjoy warm showers, which was a huge relief. Reliable, Friendly, and Professional Service
Excellent service from Solar Guru! Solar Guru truly went above and beyond to help us. They went out of their way on a Saturday morning to install our geyser, and thanks to them we had hot water again. The whole family could enjoy warm showers, which was a huge relief. A terrible experience and complete waste of money with no return on investment. The service is overpriced, customer support is dismissive, and responses are imposed without addressing actual concerns. Consultants lack stability, reliability, and honesty.
Save your money and choose another solar geyser company. Waste of money

Bad after sales service
I contracted Solar Guru for a solar installation, paid them in full and on time, and expected all compliance documents to be provided for my municipality submission. Instead, they sent me an uncertified copy of the installer’s ID and a plumbing qualification instead of the required trade certificate. The municipality has rejected these documents, as only a valid trade certificate from a qualified installer is acceptable. Despite raising this with Solar Guru, they insist these are the documents they “always” give their clients — which is simply not true and not compliant. As a contractor in the construction business, I know what a trade certificate looks like, and I have submitted many before without issue. Their refusal to provide the correct paperwork has delayed my project and puts me at risk with municipal compliance. I cannot recommend Solar Guru to anyone needing legitimate, compliant solar installations. Their handling of this matter has been unprofessional and unacceptable.

After-market support non-existent!
Solar Guru did the conversion of my existing geyser to a 20-tube solar collector early in 2023. I now have some issues with the installation, which I want them to investigate (I accept that I will need to pay for this call-out service outside the warranty period); I sent them two emails already last week (three different email addresses were copied in the request), and no one has even bothered to respond to any of my requests.

I waited a full month before writing this review, just to see how everything would hold up. I recently had a solar geyser installed by Solar Guru, and I can confidently say the service and quality are outstanding. About two years ago, I had a solar geyser installed in a different part of my property by another company. At the time, the salesperson convinced me not to use Solar Guru by speaking negatively about them. That turned out to be a big mistake. The system from the other installer leaked several times, and although they came back a few times, they eventually blocked me and shut their business down a few months later. With Solar Guru, the experience was the complete opposite. Their team was professional, the installation was clean and efficient, and the system has been running perfectly. It's clear that Solar Guru has been in the industry long enough to know what they’re doing. Be careful of fly-by-night companies just looking to make a quick buck. I can confidently recommend Solar Guru to anyone – their work is top quality and their reputation is well deserved.
