Never deal with Matthew Rollston
Worst service I've experienced in my life. Inverter blew due to bad installation. I inform Matt and 8 weeks later nothing has been done. He's blocked my messages and calls. Matt Rollston doesn't respect my time, doesn't honor his commitments and flat out lies about the effort he puts in. Matt is a **** and a *****.

Never deal with Matthew Rollston
Worst service I've experienced in my life. Inverter blew due to bad installation. I inform Matt and 8 weeks later nothing has been done. He's blocked my messages and calls. Solar Squared - no contact
Trying to get hold of Matt Rolston whom owns Solar squared. After seeing many reviews here on Solar squared I find myself in a similar situation and want to act fast rather than be too late. If any of the people can contact me on 0716092471 I would appreciate it as we could potentially share a similar case.

SOLAR SQUARED FAILED REFUND MY FULL DEPOSIT
I had the misfortune of dealing with Solar Squared. I believe in giving small business owner's a chance, but have unfortunately lost money as a result. I appointed the company to install a solar solution in my home and paid a hefty deposit in order for installation to take place. After many delays and excuses from Matt Rolston, the Director, the installation did not go ahead as arranged. I was immediately concerned and requested a refund of my deposit. Solar Squared confirmed their indebtedness and made several undertakings to re pay the full amount to me. Solar Squared has to date only repaid a portion of my deposit, but has failed to refund the balance. Matt Rolston has simply switched off his phone, does not take my calls or respond to messages. I have had no choice but to engage the services of an attorney to claim the balance of my refund. I sympathize with the other commenters and would warn anybody against appointing Solar Squared , I definitely would not recommend them.

Stay away from Solar Squared.
Quoted me one thing and installed another. When brought to Matt's attention he claimed they are same price and its fine. Figured out the inverter can't support the panels so was told they'd install original quoted things. Made me wait 2 weeks with them saying they're coming everyday and then not arriving. Eventually they installed the right inverter but then blew my Eskom box and didn't set up system properly. Still not functional. Worst service I've experienced in a long time with absolutely no responsibility taken. Stay away from Solar Squared.

A warning to all who decide to take the plunge and make major sacrifices to install solar power - Do not use Solar Squared!!! This business is so poorly run, there were significant delays with delivering the stock and they still delivered incorrect items 3 times. The installation team showed up late and with no equipment and had to borrow ours to conduct the installation. Despite numerous calls and complaints to the "COO" Matthew Rolston, all we received were excuses and defensive explanations with zero accountability. He did not even attend the site to rectify or alleviate the pathetic service. The capital outlay for solar power demands a certain level of service which this company does not have. For your own sanity, do not consider this supplier. They are just face value with no follow through on knowledge or service.
