I rented some goods from Something Borrowed for a function and it was a quotation for 17 tiffany chairs, 20 under plates and 2 rectangle table cloths. Because it was less that R 1 000 they said that they cannot deliver and I said fine let make is 20 chairs which I did not need at all. They insisted that they deliver the Thursday and I had to leave work and wait nearly a half an hour for them to pitch after they said they will at my home by 3 pm, as I had to get back to work. I changed the order to take 20 chairs and they dumped the chairs and rushed off without counting the chairs. When unpacking the chairs at the event I was left with 19 chairs, I let them know when they picked up the chairs and NOW they claim that they delivered 20 chairs. I could not let them know earlier as I was doing the event at home, I did all the planning and catering myself. I was not at work where all the contact details where on my PC. I was writing exam the Monday and I let them know when they picked up the chair. They all counted wrong, I might have counted wrong and now I’m being billed R400 for this chair that went missing. I Now I have to deal with the fact that They don’t want to give my deposit back What do they think I'm a chair thief.... really... pray tell.... why would I want to keep one of these chairs..... I now received a replacement quote after saying that they delivered 1 chair to little...... what motive do I have to keep a chair........ I mean they are not very understanding. I know that that chair is somewhere and I know it’s not with me. I never want to do business with them ever and I feel that they are bad people. Chanelle, Vicky and Garth. The People who deals with the stock. They could have been a little more accommodating and they have no afterhours contact numbers. They just trying to cover up bad service that was provided to me. I would never make use of these people as they are not very honest people at all.
