Conman - Sonic Renovation or GP Renovations Peter / Gert and now Wessel Strydom. Takes your deposit, picks up a few men at the side of the road, breaks down a bit, cements a bit, asks for more money for ' discounted' doors or windows and then disappears with your money. He has no tools or equipment of his own, arrives in a little white car. Tells rubbish stories about being an engineer and various other lies. Has very little building knowledge, tells various hard luck stories until he sees that he can't get any more money and then runs. Very charming for the first few days with his Tannie and Oom stories. Absolute pathological liar. Will stop at no lie to try and squeeze more money out of you. Even let his labourers stand on the pavement this week at 7pm and we had to pay them as he had no money. He has now gapped with our full deposit.
