If I could give less than a 1 star I would. Do not think of signing up with this company, bad service, bad admin, extorting money for a contract that was cancelled years ago. When were held at gunpoint where were they ... but they have the decency to want to collect money after I confirmed with them the contract is cancelled more than 2 years ago...! Useless!

I complained about the SOS Protec i think in Feb 2021, i was previously their customer and terminated the contract with them and i even sent them my email to proof that i communicated via emai as they claimed that they didn't receive any email. During Feb 2021 i resend the email and afterwards tbey did not come back to me as they were pestering me about the outstanding amount of which i don't owe. So today 24 May 2021 i received an sms as per below: Immediate Pmt required SOS Potec Sure acc by 28 May 21@12H00. Due R524.94. Saya 0117675300 WhatsApp 0810080109. Ref 102692377 I really don't know what game are they hoping to play here. As a matter of fact i will print all the mails and go to SAPS to report this company if they continue to irritate me with this stupid sms. Regards

Hello,i was previously subscribed with SOS PROTEC for many years, last year i have found another affordable security company. As per the agreement if one cancel 1 month notice must be filed i did so in JAN 23rd 2020 of which my notice was from 1FEB 2020-FEB 29 2020,and the debit went through on the 1st of March of which assume was still correct according to how they calculate the month instalments. The issue comes this morning when i received a call from SOS and telling me i owe them the month of April 2020, i failed to understand this whole issue and i called them and chat with the person in accounts and i have told her that i will send my proof of email that was sent in JAN 2020,and so amazing they even contacted my husband about the cancelation on the same day i sent the mail through but they were claiming that they didn't see my initial mail ,now the question is how did they learn about the cancellation? if they called on the same day i sent an email? At some point few months after they collected the radio I recieved a call from the company saying there is a false alarm in my premises ,how is it possible if there no radio activated from their company? and also my husband received a call saying the same thing. I felt so humiliated. Not sure what game are they playing here!

I dealt with companies and staff that don't have a clue what they are doing. But SOS PROTECH beats them all. My beef with them is that I paid for 2 jobs to repair my alarm that was hit by lightning and they cannot make an invoice of those 2 jobs. Serious; their staff is so incompetent that after 3 weeks they managed to create only 1 invoice (and WRONG) and email it to me. The second invoice is no where near to be seen. The incompetent staff that I dealt with ranges from the sales staff, specially the accounts department and the help desk. They can't do an invoice. Sounds like a joke but that is my problem: 3 weeks waiting for the invoice that I paid and the job is done. My insurance company gave me 30 days to submit the documents to prove the claim and I missed that deadline. Going to lose R3500,00. What a pathetic incompetent people. Don't ever deal with them, keep far, far away.

I am really shocked at the service I have received from the management team at SOS 24/7 security service for Edenvale area. They are arrogant and unsympathetic towards there customers and they have just showed me that there no 1 goal is just to make money and not worry about there customer being happy. I went with SOS on the recommendation of a friend but I have not even been with them for half a month and I have not had a good experience. Basically I am being charged extra on labour due to them not ordering what was requested on my initial quote and management do not want to meet me half way. There was parts that were ordered wrong and parts that were not ordered at all and now they want to charge me the extra labour to come put it in where as they already charged me labour to install these items in my initial quote which I have already paid. Due to this I have requested to cancel my contract and management are not willing to do it. They say it is not a good enough reason to cancel my contract. They want me to pay my full contract out even though I have only been with them for only 2 weeks. Now I am stuck with an alarm system that is only 3/4 of what I wanted and can't be completed as SOS want to extort more money out of me first. Is there anyone that knows how I can go about canceling this contract without having to pay the full contract out. I can't be part of a business that is only focused on making money and not their customers.

I have not yet chosen to use this company however we werw considering it, but thanks to the female guard at 262 Daintree avenue (Thekweni college) she stands at the main entrance wherw the screening procedure is marked, this guard has an attitude with people coming in to the premises. Has no way of speaking to people entering and exiting the premises. The manager has adressed her in my presence and this isnt the first incident.

Although I'm not a member of SOS PROTEC SURE . I just want to thank them for their quick response to a medical emergency. My neighbours thats members of SOS PROTEC SURE phone the control room and within 3 minutes their paramedic arrived at my house and stabilized my wife. They arranged for an ambulance . Thank you again for what you've done for my wife. I hope the comunity supports a company like yours.
