Last year July I had to replace the LCD on my Samsung A32. I was in Durban at the time, my son took me to a place in Chatsworth centre, Sound Tech...they charged me R2500 for a new original LCD. Even when we tried to access my phone using the fingerprint login, it refused to work. The guy who helped me assured me the screen was original and I asked many times. On a high quality replica, the biometrics does not work. He said to me I will have to recalibrate my phone and it should start working. Well this week my phone fell and the screen cracked. I went to the Samsung store only for them to tell me that the screen is not an original. Yesterday I called Sound Tech and spoke to a guy who then told me to speak to the owner, Mohammed. While on the call, in the midst of me telling him what happened, he starts talking to someone else and then puts the phone down on me. I tried calling back and then they answer the call, I tell them who it is and they leave the phone aside and carry on with whatever they are doing, ignoring the fact that I'm on the phone. Mohammad never came to the phone or even returned my call after i emailed him my details. After reading reviews on the appalling service u guys offer, I wouldn't be surprised that you are duping clients into paying R2500 for a screen that goes for R850 everywhere else. Just because I could afford to pay for the screen, it doesn't mean u had to play me for a fool. If u run your business this way, I shudder to think what other underhanded things u do, it's a disgrace! Soundtech Chatsworth Centre you are a bunch of dishonest people !!@ Mohammed, u should give up on being a businessman, u have no morals or integrity! It's no wonder u don't allow people to post on your Facebook page, cos they would all have the same thing to say. If there was an option for no stars I would have selected that!

I would not recommend you this store for any purchases if you expect your items to last. I purchased a Dell Laptop charger her for R300.00 on 8 /7/2020 on 4 /8/ 2020 I returned to store with defective charger. It was swopped out but only part of the cable not the whole unit. 2 weeks later it became defective again. Living away from Chatsworth I was not able to return immediately so I returned to store on 25/7/2020. the sales person who attended to me said that the part that is defective is a free part that they put in box themselves and is not reliable and tried to get me to spend more money offering me another cable for purchase. I asked why I wasn't advised that on purchase that the unit was unreliable and should have purchased another extension in addition to what was already given. His excuse was the salesperson who dealt with me should have advised me. I told him that I cant be held responsible for their sales people not advising me. The manager, a lady definitely not competent for the position. looked at the receipt and said if it lasted for a month its fine and not their responsibility. who would pay R300 for a laptop charger to last a month ?? Her then excuse was' I don't know how you store it in your home' this after already being told by the sales person that the so called free part was not reliable. This alone proves they are selling defective parts to the public without intention of taking responsibility. I would think twice before trusting this store if you want your item to last more than a month .

Sometimes when you purchase an item you would be welcomed by an over pleasant sales person which is expected but if by some chance that item has issues, you would take it back and not feel so welcomed that second visit and that item would be booked in for repairs which takes forever. Last week I purchased a device from Soundtech which stopped working so I took it in an to my surprise a very helpful, pleasant girl saw to me which was well educated about the devices they carry and gave an honest opinion about that device which I had purchased and thereafter advised me to add a little more to purchase a similar device which is way more reliable and it is. I didn't quite get her name but for anyone needing help there should look for a short, slightly healthy girl.
