I had booked a cruise for my family and another family.for Dec 2020. Due to lockdown the cruise was cancelled and we were offered vouchers and possible 2021 dates. The 8 March I called Victor, our consultant, he advised ne that all cruises were cancelled for the season. I then asked him if I could request a refund, he stated that a refund was possible. I needed to send an email requesting a refund. I sent the request on the 8 March 2021. To date i have not heard anything. I sent a follow up email on the 15 March. Nothing. I have called Victors cell phone and landline....but no response. I have tried calling the landline....Nothing!!!!!!!! Nobody is responding to my emails neither my calls.

My cruise was cancelled due to the lockdown. I'm waiting for my refund. I have sent emails to Alison and have had no response. They dont even answer their telephone.

Is there a negative star review for them? They utterly ruined the MSC Cruise experience for us. I wish I could inform MSC directly of how they ruin experiences for travellers. Their staff are beyond rude, they have no intent to assist with any information at all. Even after I requested to rather deal with someone else, Crystal & Allison both lacked any and all customer satisfaction priorities. Apparently EVERY mail goes to spam/junk except for the payment emails. (very ironic). They did not send our tickets. They did not respond to any of my mails regarding "Easy Board", nor did they register our disabilities, if anything they embarrassed us at Port. DO NOT go through this agency.

Is there a rating LOWER than one. This company is the worst. Phones do not work. Staff are rude. No one is ever available, they do everything via email apparently, they do not reply to emails. you have a travel agent which you cannot speak to after your first payment is made. I spoke to mine as far as quote stage and once i made deposit payment, email only. They have no chain of command, you cannot speak to a manager or supervisor. Staff think it is okay to treat their clients like dogs. One comment was "Well you can only deal with me. What a pity for you..." Crystal From South Africa Travel Online. These people are quick to take your money but wont help you or assist with cancellation. Only stating that if you cancel you lose all the money you paid as it is MSC policy, yet when you phone MSC they have not yet received the payment that falls under said policy and the cash is still with South Africa Travel Online. DO NOT USE THESE FRAUDSTERS. They are no cheaper than any other companies and if want to book a cruise, just do it directly with MSC cruises online. My mistake that i will never make again. If it was not for the fact that i will forfeit every cent i paid i would have cancelled my whole holliday and stayed home instead just not to deal with these thieves.

Agree with a previous review, their customer service is awful. Flight bookings were done incorrectly, and no effort was made to rectify this despite numerous attempts to contact the office. Met with extreme rudeness when i requested to speak directly to management. Never again.

Booking was made online but the money was NOT paid over to the airline. Get to the airport, booking was cancelled. As a result, paid again, this time more than double the amount that was already paid. You have been warned ... I most definitely will NOT be using South Africa Travel Online (southafrica.to) ever again. A hard lesson learnt.

South Africa Travelonline must be the worst in terms of customer care. They do not respond to emails and once you have paid, you're on your own. I have been trying for more than a month just to get an invoice out of them. Many negative experiences with MSC Cruise bookings through them. Travellers beware!
