Tourism in South Africa is it in Shambles ?

I am disappointed that my overseas friends are not getting their visas processed in time to visit SA. South African visas is processed through DHA . My friends had app**** for their SA visas almost three weeks ago - they have not heard from DHA. They are booked to fly to SA on the 11 th Nov . They have been checking on the website daily , it says their visas is awaiting adjudication. The South African consulate in their is unable to help . The consulate says e visa is handled at SA itself. To make matters worst , no one answers their phones at DHa
