POOR SPANISH SERVICE

I app**** for the Schengen Visa to visit Spain. BLS processed my application and found it to be compliant. They submitted the application. I was planning to visit for 6 days. My application was rejected based on inadequate funds despite producing a bank statement with sufficient funds to stay for 30 days according to their own guidelines. I appealed the decision. Each time having to submit hard copies of various documents, travelling to Centurion and the Spanish embassy and costing me in travel expenses and printing cost. I spent a total of approximately R8000.00 in these costs only for my application to be rejected for no solid reason.

The system are outdated and archaic, with us being given appointments to deliver documents.
