I requested cash back and the cashier refused

I went to spar on the 3 March 2025 to do my monthly groceries. During payment I asked for Cash back. I was very much disappointed with the response from the Cashier. She told me that cash back is closed they will resume from 6th. I was very surprised to hear that cash back close for the very first time in my life.
