Spartan/Power Truck/ Rent a Bakkie/Dial a truck/ Smart Truck
We rented a 1-ton fridge truck from Power Truck, which also goes by the name Sparta/ Rent a Bakkie/Dial a truck/ Smart Truck. The fact that this company has to use this many pseudonyms is already a red flag. Upon returning the vehicle full of fuel, filled up at the filling station near their depot in Isando, we received an invoice charging us for an extra 2 litres of fuel, as well as a service fee. When we queried this, we were fobbed off. The second time we rented the same vehicle, we immediately drove to the filling station to see whether the fuel tank was given to us full. It wasn't. 8 litres empty in fact amounting to R240.10. We sent photos of the truck being filled at the filling station with the slip and gave them the name of the petrol attendant, only to be fobbed off again and the suspicion thrown on us. We never got our money back AND we were charged again for a few litres they said they had to add to the vehicle, even though we had filled it at the filling station around the corner from them. This company is corrupt and incompetent. Even getting an invoice with correct vat details on was a fight - I had to ask for it several times. Save yourself a lot of pain and never use: Spartan/Power Truck/ Rent a Bakkie/Dial a truck/ Smart Truck or whatever other name they might use in the future.

"Diagnostec Service Centre" THE FORMER RAM SUSPENSION WORKERS
This guys tell people how professional they are and how you can pay in 3 months for your vehicle repairs, look out on Kemptonpark streets for those placards written We fix your engine problems and we give you 3 months to pay...!! This guys are nowhere near professionalism, they will S**** your car to hell, they will worsen it. They also have poor after sales(maintenance) services. This guys are the same guys who used to work at THE CONTROVERSIAL RAM SUSPENSION in Detroit Plaza Kemptonpark. They charged me R 12 500.00 to overhaul a mere small 2E Toyota Conquest engine and gave 3 months warranty. The car returned every week to them because of the engine problems encountered. It broke the cam belt and luckily did not break anything in the engine, it had oil leaks more than twice and the last time it had oil leak, I returned it to them and they did not set timing well, the next day after collection I again returned it to them, they set timing and I drove it, from Spartan to R21 just on Pomona Road off ramp, the car broke the cam belt again. They towed the car and now they are requesting me to buy valves and rockets for repairing the same cylinder head they charged me R 12 500.00 for!! I took my car and it is parked at my place, I need my money back from this creepy former Ram Suspension guys. I actually got introduced to their sweet talking when I went there for a guy who used the workshop before them! Chad the sweet talker and Obvious the dodgy admin man. THIS GUYS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT REPAIRING CARS, THEY ONLY NEED YOUR MONEY....

Bad service
First time we use Sparatan truck hire and deal with Leigh Sigasa on the call center. We book 1ton refrigerated bakki monday the 27th november We the almost R15000 deposit required the same day and everything is confirmed emailed us back everything us in order abd noted when we collecting tgehe vehicle. We arrive in the morning to collect the vehicle and they send it in thursday with another client. And now we have no vehicle. They offered me a 6 ton truck and a driver at discounted rates which actually does not help me. This us my first impression if the company. Would you use them again??? Now I suppose im going to have another issue getting my deposit back today

Spartan cricket bats
Bought a Spartan bat and after one season it cracked and the handle cracked.There is no guarantee if anything happens to it .If you can afford to pay R5000 every 6 months buy yourself one otherwise after that they shut the doors in your face and but a new bat is the only answer.
