I was in an accident and they said they will settle my car finance. I called making follow-up so they gave me pop but the car finance said the money is not appearing on their account and it is not 3 months that I have been calling standard bank requesting the remittance. I emailed the lady dealing with my case explained the situation that my account is now in arrears and I'm getting legal letters from the other bank that financed my car. everyone is choosing to ignore me.. I'm really frustrated now.. If they paid like they say why can't they give me sufficient proof and close this matter..

I have been calling Std Bank HOC for the past month. Accessors came out and thumb sucked a problem and declined my claim and left. HOW DOES a CORPORATE INSTITUTION work like this. I have since been calling to tell them that I got plumbers of my own to fix the problem as well as the damage they did not want to cover and the plumbers advised that it was not the drain which STD BANK insurance explained it was and declined my claim. WATCH OUT FOR STD BANK HOC....they never call back on their "WE WILL CALL YOU BACK" line and I messages Merlene Ogle which a consultant asked me to do to escalate and NO ONE TO DAT has come back to me - STD BANK IS SICKENING me with NO SERVICE ...

In February I visited the blue bottle bottle store on Panorama Avenue in Rooihuiskraal there was an error with payment and manager reversed payment immediately. However I was still charged full amount and money was never reversed on my account . I spoke to the vendor and he showed me his receipts and referred me to his bank which is standard bank . When I went to standard bank they told me to go back to vendor. I contacted Ombudsman who told me to go to my bank which is Absa . A dispute was lodged in February we are now approaching may and I am still waiting for a refund. Either standard bank or Vendir is benefiiting I dont know but I am still out of pocket . Be careful when purchasing from small companies

I bank with Standard and was retrenched in August. I have a small personal loan with Standard bank and was unable to repay the loan. I went to the branch in Westgate mall with all the necessary documents from my previous employer and submitted it. I received an SMS stating that my claim was registered. Last month they debited my account and the next day it was reversed. The bank charged me fees for the debit order and the monthly fees worked out in total about R330? Today I received a small payout from the uif and they deducted almost R700 along with the bank charges totalling almost a R1000? I called this number 0860123107 from my cell and spoke to Dolly,she asked me a lot of questions about fnb and nedbank? I told her that I have insufficient airtime to answer all this stupid questions about other banks and I only want those funds reversed,she told me to go to the branch???? I wanted to use that money to buy food, groceries and these guys rip my off with my money. My children must go hungry and I would not advise anyone to open banking accounts at standard bank. This is the service they give and they do not worry about their clients.

Pathetic service from Umesh Ramchandani & Jayesh Mhatre of Standard Chartered Mumbai. They are totally incompetent in simply closing an account and paying over funds held in the bank. This simple task has taken them over 7 months and is now leading to the bank being sued.
