Dear Sound Great Management, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your store in Clearwater Mall. My experience has been nothing short of appalling, and I am compelled to bring this matter to your attention. I purchased a television set from your store, relying on the sales team's expertise and guidance. However, what transpired was a rushed sales process where the terms and conditions of the warranty were not fully explained. The sales representative hastily went through the details, concealing crucial information about the warranty coverage and limitations. Now, my television set has developed a fault due to an electrical malfunction, and I was shocked to discover that Sound Great claims no responsibility due to warranty issues that were never clearly disclosed to me at the time of purchase. When I contacted your store, I was met with a lack of accountability and a clear attempt to deflect responsibility. The lack of transparency and clarity on warranty terms is unacceptable. It is the responsibility of your sales team to ensure that customers are fully informed about the products they purchase, including any limitations or exclusions. The fact that I was not provided with this information has resulted in significant inconvenience and financial loss. Furthermore, the response I received from your team when I raised this issue was unprofessional and dismissive. The runaround and lack of accountability are not what I expect from a reputable retailer like Sound Great. I urge you to take immediate action to address the following concerns: 1. *Improve sales team training*: Ensure that your sales representatives are equipped to provide clear and concise explanations of warranty terms and conditions. 2. *Review warranty policies*: Reassess your warranty policies to ensure they are fair and transparent. 3. *Take responsibility*: Take ownership of the issue and provide a suitable solution, such as repairing or replacing the faulty television set. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter. If not, I will be forced to take my business elsewhere and share my disappointing experience with friends, family, and online review platforms. Sincerely, Lerato Xaba

We bought a LG Microwave in June 2023. In Janaury this year it stopped working. We took back as it was not working. The Manager Thabang refused to exchange but sent it in for repairs. No communication has been coming forth, when we follow up we are told it will be ready in 2 days. I went to the store today and Thabang told me it will be ready by Monday. This is the worst customer service I have experienced. I asked her if she would accept not having a microwave for a month and she couldn't answer. STAX Woodlands store has pathetic customer service

I'd paid online in full for a microwave oven. This order was placed on a Friday. There was zero communication until I contacted an online service helpdesk person the following Wednesday who said that my order will be ready for collection from a store an hour away from me on that very day. I arrived at the store, saw my purchased item on the store floor but the store refused to release the item to me even though I had paid for it in full, I had the original invoice with me and I was able to provide ID verification as the purchaser. I returned home without my microwave oven because of poor communication and poor processes at Stax and Sounds Great. This was the worst service ever experienced by any online retailer ever. These people are utterly unprofessional. I will never ever purchase from them again, and you should consider carefully before making an online purchase if you want to be treated in this manner too.

Worst customer service experience in my life at STAX Woodlands Boulevard! Took a kettle (not a cheap one) back due to manufacturing defect for a refund. They refused to give me a refund, although it is still way under the warranty date. I took them to the same kettle on display and high and behold, this kettle has the same defect. Opend another two kettles, yup, you guest it, they too have the same problem. Now they want to send it back to supplier to see if it wasn't my fault that the kettle is not working...... Would not recommend this store to anyone. They lost a customer for life.

My partner and I purchased a Klipch Subwoofer in June 2024. It's a popular brand and when we purchased it, we recieved great service. 3 months later, on or about 14 September 2024, the Subwoofer refused to turn on. My husband called Sounds Great Clear Water Mall, this is where we purchased this item. We were advised by an employee that we had two options, take it to planet world or bring it to sounds great. As planet world was closer, my husband took it to planet world on the advice of sounds great. My husband took it and was not advised that there would be a fee for the diagnosis and given that this item is not even 6 months old, we were shocked the next day saying we needed to pay for this diagnosis and the cost to repair this was about 70% of the value of the Subwoofer. We went to sounds great and the sales agent assured us that he would resolve the issue and agreed that a fee for the diagnosis was unfair More than two weeks have passed and all he is saying is that he will get back to us. I sent an email to the manager with my formal compliant and we have recieved no response!! The service at Sounds Great Clear Water Mall is appalling. They will happily sell you high end products and thereafter ignore you despite their negligent advice!!!

1st time trying to buy something online. Cumbersome. Could not proceed because there is no city listed under Gauteng and you cant type it is. R300 courier is more than double the going rate. There is no choice for estate. C'mon guys, everyones selling online and managing it.
