I ordered orthopedic walking shoes for R899 on 11 July. The waiting period for delivery is 10-21 working days. I stll haven't received my order. I email their info department about once a week to enquire buuti have never received any reply.

Hi I bought very expensive shoes from SummerCape and they send me the cheapest shoes from China! Not leather as stipulated and can't return it. It must be sent directly to China. Posting cost for my own pocket!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE A TOTAL *****!!!! *****ing your money!!

For those who have already paid and lost money to Summer Cape. Please make sure you report to Instagram Facebook and the SA consumer protection. You should also raise a chargeback request with your bank for the original payment. You may not receive the money back but it will highlight to Visa that this retailer is a problem and if enough customers complain Visa will refuse to authorise payments.

I ordered the Dillan Hawaiian Skull Shirt from their website. I am really disappointed with the quality and print on the shirt I ordered. Firstly, the website .co.za looks like the goods are from South Africa. In fact, they are not and are shipped from China. This information is not available on your website. I had to wait 2 weeks for the goods to arrive. Secondly, the shirt feels like something I could have gotten from Shein. The description on the website says premium cotton and spandex blend. There is no cotton in the shirt, and there are no tags on the shirt either. Not even washing instructions. The print on the shirt is also stretched and out of proportion. I am 100% disappointed with the shirt and I want a full refund. I have sent a mail, but I am not hopeful that I will get a refund at all.

This is a **** site using Chinese Shein-type products and shipping whilst pretending to be selling boutique products and based in Cape Town. Wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered, items didn't arrive and no refund issued.

Even though this website references Cape Town and South Africa in its branding and name, and makes every effort to appear “local”, it is actually a front for cheap, low-quality imports. But I didn’t realise this until after purchasing so, even though I found the items to be expensive, I felt good about buying local and high-quality (100% cotton, etc). I also didn’t check Google, where I would have found hundreds of unhappy customers. Only when my 3 items arrived, did I realise my mistake. - My “denim” item is not denim but 100% polyester. - None of the items resembles the photos used for advertising; one is in fact so unlike the image that I suspect it’s a different item altogether. - All of the XL items are, objectively, way too small. Closer to a M. (I’m a regular purchaser of online imports, so I know how sizing typically works when items come from Asia. These items are TINY.) When I emailed this website to request a refund, I was told “…please note that all return charges are the customer's liability. Your product will need to be returned directly to our supplier and it will be inspected upon arrival before your refund is processed. Return address: Ms. Chang; Garage No. 144, Building B8, Dexin Garden, Yuhua District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, China; Post Code: 410007; +86 18908492225…” I’d really thought I was buying from a local business in Cape Town! I complained again and was told: “Sadly, we can only issue a refund if the product is returned to our supplier directly.” But I declined to do this, because I was not willing to take the risk of paying for an international return at my own cost in the event that they declined to refund me. Do not shop with this company. It’s profoundly ****my.

Really disappointing !! The dresses that arrived are nothing like the dresses advertised. 4 similar sizes but not one fits the same, finishing reeks of poor quality and return policy is an absolute **** - you need to arrange and pay for the items to be returned back to CHINA and then they might refund you. STAY AWAY !!

I received an inferior product after ordering a different colour dress the 2nd time from SummerCape via Facebook. The style, cut and quality of material is completely different! They have skimped on material so that a medium is more like a small! Tight fitting with shorter sleeves and length. I have contacted them 3 times and have been told by Anna of SummerCape to return the dress, at my own cost, to an address in China where the dress will be assessed before reimbur*****t can take place. I thought I was ordering through FashionCape but gather it must be connected to SummerCape who sent the dress. I feel shocked and disgusted that this **** advertising should be promoted by Facebook and Instagram and will certainly not be purchasing anything online through them again.
