never experienced a more unfriendly service than today at superfoto durbanville, the staff is not at all interested and I think he said no more than 3 words to me, after spending a lot of money there, not helpful at all and definately do not know how to treat customers, will never have my foto's developed there in the future

Superb Service! The online shop/creator is user friendly, the head office/online support service is out of this world and the Durbanville and Tygervalley branches provides excellent service and such a good turnaround time. Make use of them for all your printing and photos gifts needs, you won’t be sorry.

I was highly disappointed in the manager/owners customer service s****s, Whilst the employees were excellent in assisting me with my photographic needs as per the detailed instruction sheet I brought along the managers Laissez-faire attitude detracted from the service delivered. 1) I was given a quote for taking the pictures with a blue background (as specified in the paper I handed over to the employee, note: I made it clear I needed a full length picture as well) 2) the pictures were taken by an employee (the manager walked in front of the shot multiple times and did not acknowledge my presence in the shop rather focussing his attentions on another group of customers) 3) I was called back 30 min later to be informed the pictures needed to be re-taken as they were not of the quality expected at a professional camera store. 4) The second lens used was visibly held together with sellotape 5) The pictures were edited to represent the requested blue background (not the best editing s****s but adequate for requirements) 6) I was finally addressed by the owner/manager for the first time and presented with a bill of more than double the employee's quoted amount, when I raised an objection the owner started verbally riffling through his reasoning as to the increase, also stating he had not heard the full discussion we had had (even though he was next to us) if he at that point had any doubts as to the quote given he should have raised it then and there as surely that is a managers main function if not customer satisfaction. He also saw the pictures being taken and did not rectify quality issues. 7) A direct ageist remark was made which I find incredibly unprofessional (Note that should a manager/owner be in his current field of operations for so many years he should surely be more well equipped to deal with customers, am I not correct in this assumption?) No customer of any age should be discriminated against. 8) Finally I was told my photographs would be sent to me at the initial quoted rate after first refusing to release them to me digitally, in order "to get me out of his shop" This entire experience has opened my eyes to the lacklustre attitude of minimum wage business managers/owners. I hope not to experience this in another store. Note that the first employee who dealt with me was excellent I gave him a cash tip to the value of the difference in quoted and final invoice amount for his kind and professional service and to show that had I been dealt with respectfully from the start the invoice amount would not have been an issue. This will be posted on all relevant sites such as Hellopeter, Instagram, Facebook and other media channels in the hopes that this level of service is not repeated but rather improved upon. Kind regards -Adam

Had the worst experience ever. Promised to come back but never did.... quoted an amount when came to collect and pay....firstly Susan the Manager could not find the parcel . we had to come back for the third or forth time... the price just doubled when she finally found the item .... please note the quote was verbal.... the shop is a total mess. Susan van der Vyver is way over her head....she does not have a clue what is going on in her own little store.....she would not compromise and took her item back .....recommended never to use..

<p>I love to s****book and always have LOTS of photos to print. I use the Superfoto outlet in the De Ville Centre, Wellington Rd, Durbanville. There are two young gentlemen who always seem to be on duty and they are both extremely pleasant and helpful. Tian Mostert especially, has the patience of a saint - he always ends up having to help me get my photos just right and the way I want them - I'm all thumbs when it comes to that. As I work in Century City, I've even skated in there when the door was half way down for closing time - and they were just amazing and helpful even after a long day. They never rush me and always get the photos right first time, every time!! Such service and dedication definitely deserves to be recognised and I don't know who else to direct my compiment to, so here it is on Hello Peter.</p> <p>kind regards</p> <p>Mrs N Reynolds </p>
