Oh Boy, where do I start. I started dating a man a couple of month's ago, and as Valentine's day approached, I wondered if I should get him something as it is still a very new and unestablished relationship. But decided to get him something anyway, what I know about him is he likes chocolate, so I decided to have a gift made up by Swiss Lady, but dealing with Nathi is an absolute nightmare. I asked them to have a custom coffee mug made with added chocolates, simple right, because I wasn't sure that he would do anything for me, I didn't want it to be awkward. They had the gift made up and sent me a picture, and then I asked for certain things to be in the card. But I had to send email after email after email, and only get vague responses, I wasn't sure if this woman even understood what I was asking, which really started to stress me out. Then I called her to clarify everything, because there was just no way between the delayed responses in the emails that I was going to be assured. She told me that the gift would be delivered in the morning, as I told her specifically it needs to be early, as they might miss him. She sent me a picture of the card with my message at 11am, with a mistake in it.... Ugh, I am so bemused. A simple one line message, how even? Then I asked her why it's so late, I asked for an early delivery, which I paid R150 for to start with, on which she rep****, "It will be delivered. The driver is about to leave". My entire mood for valentines day is now dampened. I am so frustrated. And I am the kind of person who takes gifting very seriously. I do not just pick out a pair of socks, I think about the recipient. Seems like this place does not share the same sentiment. The quality of the chocolates are great, and gifting is also good, but the service is shoddy and frustrating. I really did not have a good experience.
