signed a contract with SYNC Model Management on 24 March 2025 and paid a total of R3,650 for a modelling package that included a professional photoshoot, portfolio images, Z-cards, and training.
Despite completing payment on 26 May 2025, I never received any of the services promised. My emails and calls were ignored for weeks.
On 20 June 2025, I formally sent a 60-day cancellation notice and requested a refund due to non-performance. SYNC did not respond until after I escalated the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO). They promised to resolve it, but months have passed and I am still waiting for my refund and cancellation confirmation.
This experience has been extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I want my refund of R3,650 processed and written confirmation that my contract has been cancelled.
