I booked an appointment 2 weeks ago. Arrived early to discuss my tattoo design. It was a hand drawn design, trace copy ect. After waiting for the other tattoo artist to arrive (Mr Dee was not comfortable to do it,) I was told that he had another booking and could not do it. Surely if you are a proffesional, you ask for a picture before the time and then book the required time. Tattoo artist are quick to take your money and are prepared to mark you for life but seem to not act proffesional as true artist should.

I hope you haven't bought the Groupon for Tattoos by Mr.Dee's. I inquired the price of a script I wanted tattooed. They asked if it was cash or voucher (groupon). The cash price was R550 and the groupon price was R150 per letter. For the script I wanted that would be R5550 for the exact same words. That's a 909% mark up just for using a voucher that should make the tattoo cheaper. That's bad business practice. Hope no-one has fallen into that trap.
