I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the services provided by TD Ameritrade. My experience has been nothing short of unacceptable and has raised serious concerns about the company's business practices.
I recently set up an account to trade and deposited an amount of R1000.00, as advised by my assigned broker. The broker assured me that I would see profits within 24 hours. However, after the 24-hour period passed, I received a message from the broker claiming that she had not responded due to issues with her phone. Despite this initial setback, I was assured that I would soon receive my profits.
To my dismay, I was informed that I needed to pay a withdrawal fee of R2500.00 to process the withdrawal. Trusting the broker's assurances, I made the payment. Subsequently, I was then told that I needed to pay an additional R4000.00 for withdrawal pin fees because their system required an update.
This sequence of events has left me feeling deceived and financially strained. I have comp**** with all requests for additional payments under the promise of receiving my profits, yet I have not received any returns or further communication regarding my funds.
I urge TD Ameritrade to address this matter immediately. I expect a prompt resolution and the return of my invested funds, along with the promised profits, without any further demands for additional fees.
I hope that this review will bring to light the issues I have faced and prompt the company to take swift and appropriate action to resolve this matter.
