I purchased my first Jacuzzi in 2000, 16 years ago from Techno Swimming pool & Jacuzzi. In 2015 the Jacuzzi's inner shell cracked and I requested a replacement from Techno Swimming pool & Jacuzzi on 25 August 2015. I then had a 7 to 14 business day waiting period for production. The Jacuzzi was finally delivered and had to be returned as the Jacuzzi was not polished and fitted with all the parts, the Jacuzzi was installed on 4 November 2015. I was still not entirely happy with the final product as I was informed they do not make a Jacuzzi with the Perspex lining and the new acrylic shell had no issues and carried a 5 year warrantee.

On 29 March 2016 I contacted Them and informed them that the spa has bubbles on the inner shell and I would like to claim against the warrantee. The response from Dwayne Scheepers the operations manager was that this happens from overheating and does not form part of the warrantee he does not explain what temperature this will occur at and does not want to entertain my warrantee claim. He supplied me with a letter and quote to claim from my insurance thus passing the risk to myself or the insurer and not taking responsibility for their product.
