Just received a call from Mondo Trading when pressed as to were they got my information they said Telegenix and supplied a telephone number. Phoned the number per the gentleman who answered the call it was his fathers company and his father passed away 8 years ago and the company has closed down. Something is not right especially with the POPIA act.

I received a spam call from 0600456035, whom noted they received my contact details from Telegenix. Due to the implementation of the new POPIA, companies should not share personal details without consent. Please can you remove my personal contact details form your system.

Please remove my number from your database. I DO NOT giver permission for my number to be distributed for ANY marketing. You DO NO have permission to randomly share my number. If you had (which I doubt), you are no longer permitted to do so!

I do not authorise my cell number to be used for marketing, however, I have just received a call for Discovery Insure. The lady was kind enough to confirm that my number was obtained from Telegenix. Why do I receive cold calls on products, when all my contracts state that my number is not allowed to be used for marketing purposes other than the product I have signed up for?

They breached the terms of the POPI act by unlawfully selling my personal information without my knowledge or consent to telemarketers for purposes of unsolicited marketing to me. On trying to obtain their contact information there is non because there are more than five different companies in different spheres of influence in South Africa all named Telegenix. One deals with pharmaceutical products, another with engineering, another with business analysis, another possibly with trading and yet another with market acumen. The woman who called me today said she was calling on behalf of Discovery Life to sell me life insurance and had received my information from "a Creditors Marketing Company named Telegenix" but she had no contact information for them. If anybody reading this has contact information for these people please get hold of me and let me know so that I can personally call them and find out who gave them my information to begin with and have it removed from their systems.

I have been receiving a lot of spam calls, and finally asked where they had gotten my number, as I haven't authorised anyone to share or sell my personal details. I was told the list of numbers is sourced from Telegenix, and I find this unacceptable and morally suspect. It's a huge security breach, and I'd like to know who gave them permission to share or sell my personal information?

Telegenix have acquired my details without my consent and are selling it to marketing companies (e.g. Blue Mercury financial services). I am expecting someone from Telegenix to contact me. Remove me off their database and also contact the companies that you have provided my details to to have me removed off their databased
