Textbook Traders unproffessionalism
I sold a book on their site last week Monday. They say you recieve your payment in 3 - 5 business days. I havent recieved any payment and no communication. They dont answer calls and emails. Its funny because when they called to arrange for collection, 2 different agents phoned to arrange for collection. This is so unproffessional. If they dont contact me soon im going to see what legal action I can take.

Unpaid book that they sold and taken from me!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been using their services since last year. This year they collected my book and I was never. Calls are not answered. emails not responded to. Can they just return my book? It been sold since 10 February 2026. It's over a month now. No need to **** us, JUST PAY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so furious.

Unpaid book that they sold and taken from me!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been using their services since last year. This year they collected my book and I was never. Calls are not answered. emails not responded to. Can they just return my book? It been sold since 10 February 2026. It's over a month now. No need to **** us, JUST PAY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so furious.

I ordered a textbook online on the 2 March 2026 and still upto today I haven't received any notifications on the package or delivery process.They don't answer any calls,when sending them emails they don't have the decency to contact u telephonically.they
The worst service I have ever experienced with any order I have ever placed online

I recently listed a book and it was bought by Textbook trader. Courier company came to pick-up the book and I waited for payment but I never got it. After 7 days of waiting, I then wrote them an email asking what was the hold-up. It is then that they told me that I gave them the wrong textbook. I requested a picture of the book and it was the very same same that they bought from me. Now, they don't want to return my book unless I pay R200 couriers fees.

No Transparency on Commission for Sellers
Please be careful using this website to sell textbooks. They will charge the buyer a big fee, of which the seller will receive less than half of the total amount. I listed a bunch of books for sale only to cancel them after realising. The website does not indicate the total commission they charge anywhere. They listed my book for sale to the buyer at R395, and I received only R118. Even if the price includes a R100 delivery fee, I still receive less than half of the total, which is unacceptable. They use marketing tactics to persuade you by saying you pay no additional cost, but there is no transparency in terms of the commission fees. Avoid this platform at all costs.

I’ve recently sold my books to textbooks trader. Books were collected. The issue is they said payment will be made within 3-5 day. It’s been 2 weeks now still haven’t received my payment yet they said they will process payment this week.
