Please read this before engaging with TGP Building Construction / Combined Developers
I wish we had performed a simple google search prior to purchasing from Combined Developers and TGP Building. Before you invest or buy into any development that is affiliated with TGP Building / Combined Developers, please read the below. Here are a few of the issues we have experienced with TGP / Combined: - They sold us a plot with an existing boundary wall that negatively impacts the ERF we own - They built another home on our ERF - They withheld this error from us for 4 months. - They asked us to sign away use of our land without compensation - They built our home in the wrong place - They built our home smaller than the contractually agreed plan - They installed cheaper paving on the development than contractually agreed as per the plan - They have been mostly inflexible with changes, even with adequate notice. Any changes have come at (in our opinion) excessive cost. - They delayed reasonable requests to visit our plot to view progress - They refused to resolve the issue through discussion and instead led with threats of legal action. - The compensation offered for reduced land and home is unethically low. Lower than the original cost we paid.
