STAY AWAY
STAY AWAY!!! Got them to come out to give us a quote. They never mentioned a call out fee and when we said we don't accept the quote/price and we will pay the call out fee and gave them cash on the spot. They started getting rude and argumentative that we did not want to pay the money for the job and only pay for the call out fee. They also started the job without us accepting the quote/price and installed sensors (which we said take the sensors and please leave). Very rude and unprofessional and apparently ***ist too after looking at their reply of the other review Santie left. We had to threaten to call security because they did not want to leave. Update from another company repairing the fridge! They cut wires of the sensors to be spiteful now we need another part to connect the cut wires!

Leeroy is *********** rude and be warned they make the problem worse. We had a call out paid a fee and we were advised to order a part. I felt uneasy and then got a second opinion- we were advised he had cut the pipe of the smart fridge which you don’t do- and the part he said he replaced had not been replaced . He then contacted me for payment - I advised him that i paid the initial call out fee , but he made the problem worse - and no part was replaced so I would not be paying for the “replaced part”. He’s rude , unprofessional and threatening. I upon further research also found he’s done the same to various people . Lesson learnt we should’ve read reviews. We hope no one else falls into this trap.

Horrible service from "The Appliance Engineer"
Stay far away from these *********** ****mers. they repaired 3 fridges for me used incorrect door seals on one, seals broke again within a few weeks due to being wrong size, 2nd one failed within one day, they came and re-gassed it, it failed again within 2 months, refused to come back out in spite of a 4 month guarantee. Rude *********** ****mers, STAY AWAY

Horrible! You basically pay them to damage your appliances. They came to look at my fridge and told me that it was a quick fix. R4500 later, and it is unrepairable. Leroy does not have any idea of how to fix appliances !!!! 0739578697 They are not competent and should not be fixing household appliances!

Stay away!!! Called them out to repair a display error on our Hisense washing machine, replaced our drain pump, R2200 afterwards and the machine still has the same error, Tony did the repairs, and advised us that he would need to collect the machine and send it to their facfory.....to date not a damn thing heard from either him or Leeroy. They have super fast sevice upon enquiry and call out, but that's about it, what happens therafter is non existent

I WOULD GIVE MINUS 10 IF I COULD!!. LEEROY FROM THE APPLIANCE ENGINEER WAS CALLED BY ME ON 31 MARCH 2023 TO LOOK AT MY DEFY GEMINI THERMOFAN OVEN. HE ARRIVED ON 1 APRIL, AND SAID HE NEEDED TO REPLACE THE FAN MOTOR AND THERMOSTAT. HE DID THE JOB, CHARGED R2,500 (INCLUDING CALL OUT AND LABOUR). THE MONEY WAS PUT INTO HIS BANK ACCOUNT BEFORE HE EVEN LEFT. A FEW DAYS LATER THE GRILL WASNT WORKING AND NOW THE WHOLE OVEN IS NOT WORKING. I PHONED LEEROY TO TELL HIM. HE IS THE RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER SPOKEN TO!!. HE SAID: THE TROUBLE WITH YOU IS THAT YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO WORK YOUR OWN OVEN AND PUT THE PHONE DOWN!! HE WON'T TAKE ANY FURTHER CALLS FROM ME. NO DETAILS ON THE INVOICE, NO EMAIL ADDRESS AND ONLY CELL: 073 957 8697. THERE IS ANOTHER CELL NO. IN THEIR ADVERT (067 266 0757) BUT LEEROY ANSWERS BOTH. B E W A R E O F T H I S C O M P A N Y !!!!! Overcharging scammers
Scammers - not even worth a single star ! . I got charged R2350 to repair a Samsung Side by side freezer . Freezer only needed gassing. I was apparently charged for A filter, sensor,flashing and callout &Labour fee. Asked for an invoice and got an Overall total . No detailed itemizing ! How Unprofessional scammers dCan one get - This is just the beginning - I am taking this up with the consumer board . Giving grassroots Businesses a bad name

DISHWASHER REPAIRS
DO NOT use these guys. They claim a call-out fee of R250. They came out to see my dishwasher which was leaking, made some adjustments to the levels, and charged R450, The minute they left it started leaking again and they refused to come out again. SCAMMERS
