The company advertised imported,, orthopaedic Italian sandals for women, at a discounted price of R895.00. When the order finally arrived, the sandalls were in packaging from China and of inferior quality. They are not orthopaedic, not Italian, not leather and very poorly made. The fit is altogether wrong and the soles are so thin I can feel the ground undeneath my feet. I could have bought them at a local low cost shop for R59.95. I tried to go back on line to return the product. The website and email had been removed and the email acknowledging my order came from a no-reply Payfast site. The company who took the money is called Redcube Investments. I tried in vain to contact anyone, and in desperation, contacted Shopify, who were the web hosts. They must have contacted Caple Boutique, who eventually responded saying that I wanted to return the shoes I would have to cover the costs and the suppliers were in China. There was no offer of a refund as advertised initially. They then offered a "token gesture of goodwill" to give me a payment of 10%. When I tried to respond the email address is unknown. This company is a ****. Keep well away from them. Veronica Koning

Cape-boutique makes out it is a clothing store that is closing down and that it is selling high quality products whose prices have been slashed. This is not the case. They are selling cheap Chinese clothes that look nothing like what is on the website. They also sent me the wrong order and claimed that if I wanted to return goods, I should cover the costs of sending them back to China. This is despite the fact that this was their mistake and the costs of sending these back is so exorbitant that you will be forced to pay more for these inferior clothes. They know that you are not going to do this! When asked for a local address they refuse to give it to you despite there being a local website address. I have approached the advertising authority [false advertising], the ombudsman and the local media to try and get this stopped. However, now that I look and try to find them the claim is that the store has closed. They will definitely open under another name so please look out for them!

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes. They took over 2 weeks to be delivered. One pair was wrong size and they have declined to replace them

I ordered shoes on 24 March and 26 March and have not received either. When I inquire I'm told they are very busy
