Theft of forgotten items in the rooms

Me and my friend checked in at the hotel on Friday and checked out on Monday, so my friend forgot the cellphone charger there, I went there Thursday to see if I can get the charger only to be told that they have never seen the charger. That hotel has employed untrustworthy house keeping staff and that is very bad, people who goes there must watch out for their valuables.
