I bought a watch from The Casio Shop in South Africa and paid ZAR 3199 (Order #CAS-ORD-11037 (placed on May 19, 2014 12:04:15 PM SAST) ten years ago and over time the bezel has faded completely so that no figures are visible anymore, I requested a quote to replace the bezel only and received the ridiculous price of ZAR1780, stating "WATCH PARTS - CASE, BEZEL, DIALS & HANDS " and "The bezel comes with a case complete only" How can a reputable brand like Casio not supply individual parts and expect customers to pay for parts that do not need replacing. Despite emailing Casio MEA, they are ignoring and failed to reply. Bought my LAST Casio watch ten years ago then !!!!

I got the watch I ordered and it's a beautiful watch although it's a lot smaller than what was displayed on the picture on their website I kind of hoped it would be bigger. You should maybe try and put images on your website that display your products more accurately so that customers know exactly what it is they are buying. I felt the strap was also far too large for a ladies wrist but maybe that's just me as I have a tiny little wrist but I suppose that's not a big issue as I went and quickly had it re-sized. Although I am quite satisfied with the watch overall the communication from their customer service was lacking. They advertise things on their website that are out of stock and only after you've placed the order do they tell you this. You also have to follow up every few hours to find out where your order is because they don't respond to emails in a very timeous manner. Will I order from them again? Maybe.

I ordered a watch from them last week Wednesday (04/09/2024). On Friday last week (06/09/2024) I get an email from Jenna from their online sales team stating that the watch I ordered is out of stock but not to worry, the warehouse confirmed that they have the same model in stock just with a black face and can they send that one instead? Now my problem is this: 1. They advertise products on their website that are out of stock 2. They don't even have the decency to let you know the product is out of stock (I had to find this out after I sent them an email to inquire when I can expect my order) 3. They say I should expect my order tomorrow (10/09/2024) but it seems like they are lying about that too because it is now past 2pm and the status of my order has not been updated even though I asked them to do that as proof my order has been dispatched and so I can track the order but they haven't even done that which means I probably won't get my order tomorrow as they say Don't think I will be ordering from them again any time soon Don't

I was a bit apprehensive given the very mixed reviews but I had a very pleasant experience. Got exactly what I wanted, ordered on the 14th of Feb and it got delivered this morning (19th Feb). Looks good and no issues at all.

Terrible service or rather lack of service from CASIO South Africa - James Ralph Pty Ltd. They advertise a price match policy on their website but don't respond to emails or phone calls when asked to implement said policy. I have confirmed with James Ralph that the stockist is authorized but instead of price matching Casio South Africa staff advised me to rather buy it from the other stockists. Again, why offer to price match if they're not prepared to actually do it? I will be reporting this matter to the consumer ombudsman for investigation as they are falsely advertising a service that they actually cannot/refuse to actually provide.

I was looking for where I Could buy a Casio watch in South Africa and came across the Casio shop. I did a quick hello peter search and was a little concerned about the reviews on here (although admittedly there are very few over a long time period). Before ordering the watch I phoned the casio shop to check they were real and they were very helpful as the colour watch I wanted wasn't in stock but they did have a grey one in stock. So I ordered it yesterday. It arrived today. The correct watch, all functioning and all very quick and painless.

I was looking for where I Could buy a Casio watch in South Africa and came across the Casio shop. I did a quick hello peter search and was a little concerned about the reviews on here (although admittedly there are very few over a long time period). Before ordering the watch I phoned the casio shop to check they were real and they were very helpful as the colour watch I wanted wasn't in stock but they did have a grey one in stock. So I ordered it yesterday. It arrived today. The correct watch, all functioning and all very quick and painless.

Ordered a watch online, paid R8000. Was contacted the next day and told that the watch was not in stock, they offered me an alternative, or said that I could wait, as the watch will arrive in a week. I opted to wait. A week passed, I heard nothing from them. I followed up, it was ignored. I followed up again, I was told that the watch will arrive the next day and that they will contact me. The next day, no calls, nothing from The Casio Shop. I followed up, I was ignored again. Followed up for a second time, was told that the watch has arrived but they are checking stock. It would "probably" be dispatched the next day, but they will let me know. Surprise surprise, I received no feedback the next morning as promised. I followed up, was ignored, followed up again. I was told there was a death in the company and they would get back to me. Followed up again, they blamed load shedding. At this point, even though there might have been a death at the company and they might have had load shedding, panic set it, as the whole transaction had been questionable from the beginning. I accused them of scamming me. The reaction from the company was to resort to calling me names and insulting me, and then refunding me me R500 more than I paid. Because they are not scammers, they just have TERRIBLE service. Off course, in their minds I am the unreasonable monster, because eventually I just didn't believe anything they said anymore. Whether the truth or not. I ordered the same product from Takealot, I paid nearly R3000 less, they had the product they advertised, and I didn't have to follow up 6 to 9 times and eventually completely loose my cool to get a reaction.
