The Computer Shop (TCS St Francis Bay). They are cheaper than the competitors in the area and they do what they actually claim... they said 10meg a second, and that's what I got... It's never below 10meg, unless the weather is VERY cloudy. I also download/upload over 500GB a month and I'm never throttled or limited. Their staff are also knowledgeable and speak to you like a valued customer, not just a person who is there to take up their time.

Since my bad experience with Pure Group (paying R3017 per month RENTAL for a phone system) I've moved to The Computer Shop. For the SAME system, they charge a monthly rental of R245 (ex VAT) and my calls average about R700 per month. This is such a relief after having to pay in excess of R6000 every month to Pure Group - stay far away from them! (oh, and Pure Group highjacked my phone number that I traded with for 12 years, which meant I had to get a new number which caused me to loose clients.) Thank you "TCS" (The Computer Shop) for restoring my faith in telecommunications companies.

These guys are a bunch of jokes! The owner blackmailed me about fixing my service only if I removed my Facebook review. I caught him out lying about my line getting fixed. I am completely disgusted by the owner's' lack of business ethics. I told him I would remove it after my internet gets fixed - because I pay for it. He then immediately canceled my line. We run a business that is online, we are making a loss because of this. Bunch of clowns. I would not recommend this company to anyone else. I am still waiting for my refund.

<p>Running a 4Star B&B we need internet provider services to serve our guests and to run our business. This includes CCTV cameras. In addition, we want to be able to provide German TV via internet. The Telkom line could only provide max 4 mbps, insufficient for the ob. The Computershop offered a 10 mbps service via arial link @R1650 per month. We signed the contract and TCS installed all necessary hardware for a hotspot facility in the B&B (and we paid R15,000 for it).</p> <p>The contract reads "This links directly back to our offices at 8 High Street where we have a SAIX gold fibre connection and a MTN microwave to fibre connection. All our packages are completely uncapped and unshaped, run at an 8:1 contention ratio and allow for a VOIP connection if you wanted to do away with Telkom completely."</p> <p>However, we never since end 2015 got anywhere near the contractual 10 mbps, run at an 8:1 ratio. As published on Face Book throughout the year we get around 1,89 mbps down and 0,5 mbps up. The last publsihed on 0n 2nd December 2016. Serveral mails to the provider requesting improvement and dispatching of a technician remained unanswered.</p> <p>This is borderline fraud.</p>

I have been struggling to get a new battery for my MacBook Pro laptop. Prices from other suppliers were exorbitant and required my laptop to be sent to Cape Town or George to have the new battery fitted. <br> I approached The Computer Shop at 8 High Street in Plettenberg Bay who had a look at the laptop and sourced a new battery at a very reasonable rate. Within 2 days, the battery arrived and was fitted and tested within 15 minutes.<br> Furthermore, they kept me updated by phone as to the expected arrival of the battery.<br> <br> They will certainly have my business in future.
