Different price on item to what they charge
Went to fishing specialist goodwood to go buy some tackle. On my my arrival there was hardly no stock and the 1 item i bought was charged differently at the till to what the price was on the item. I only realized this when I got back to work. I sent a photo of the price on the item and the price on the till slip to their Facebook page. They responded and said they would refund me the difference which was all fair and well, but then they blocked me on their Facebook page because of the placement. Not cool. For those who are going to buy by them, make sure that the price on item and the price you pay is the same.

Worst tackle shop ever
Bought a tackle bag from them,it disintegrated within two months due to zips corroding .took it back and gave all my details,six months later i had to call them back,they had made no attempt to replace or give back the money Useless and badly run business

Check your till slip
<p>I wanted to buy fishing rods and other equipment for the wife and me and went to "The Fishing Specialist" this morning. The assistant rang the items up and wanted to charge me over R3000 for the items. On inspecting the slip we found that he charged us for three R1100. rod and reel combinations, instead of the two that we took. At this stage he already had my Debit card and wanted to process the payment. When I complained to the manager, his responce was"Everybody makes mistakes, nobody is perfect". Which is true, but absolutely pathetic from someone calling themselves "Specialists". Apon arriving at home, I checked my till slip, just to find out that they overcharged me for the three packets of hooks as well. So, people, if you buy from them, be sure to check your purchases and till slip very carefully, and make sure of the prices. A lot of their stock doesn't even have prices on it</p>
