What an unforgettable experience.

After a booking with a different hotel fell through, we found The Glen, what a blessing in disguise that was! When we arrived we were absolutely amazed by the service. Our baggage was taken to our room, and upon hearing that not only was it my birthday but also our wedding night, the staff went above and beyond our expectations. From complimentary sparkling wine, a slice of cheesecake delivered by all the staff singing happy birthday, and rose petals strewn all over our room to the incredible food and room service. I want to thank all the staff members who welcomed us with open arms and did everything they could to make our experience enjoyable. The staff is eager to help in any way they can, and we could see the employee satisfaction, an attestation to management. The one thing that went "wrong" would be that our ID documents were not returned to us at check-in, but we also forgot to retrieve them at check-out, which is entirely our own fault. BUT not even an hour after notifying the hotel of this mistake, they personally delivered it to us at our place of residence. WE COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL ENOUGH!! I would give it 10 stars if I could.
