"I was most pleased with the total experience and service delivery I personally experienced with Pierre and the Golf Cart Guy SA. He clearly explained to me that the cart was used the condition of the cart could change at any given time as it was not a new purchase. I was referred to him by a couple of my golf buds who have all bought carts from Pierre and they are still happy owners of those carts. Overall pleasant and great value for money!!!"

<div>Bad Business, When buying a Golf cart from The Golf Cart Guy, .Be very care full. What he is telling you about the good condition of the Golf Cart / batteries is not what your getting. Please make sure and rather take the Golf Cart for a proper test drive on a Golf course to check the status of the batteries. Before purchasing the Golf Cart he promised me that he will help me if am not satisfied with the Golf cart and he will even exchange it for me. But after payment, and receiving a Golf cart that is in no running condition he just told me that it is not his problem. When buying a Golf Cart from him, make sure and take it to a expert to check it out before paying any money.</div>

Purchase a trailer from the the owner 0n 6 January 2020 and immediately paid the fill amount due. After several e-mails, and even begging, I am still unable to register the trailer on my name. It took 5 months to get copies of the owners ID. The license has now expired and the only was to register it is for the owner to obtain a the license. I am still unable to register the trailer, and as the license expired, I can not use it. I have been cheated by the golf cart guy. The owners contact number is: 0823456889.

Pierre van Zyl operates out of Pretoria North and sells second hand golf carts. He advertises mainly on OLX and Gumtree. I went to view a cart that was priced at R45K. Pierre told me all I wanted to know about this cart. I specifically asked him about the batteries as they seemed old. This was my main concern. He assured me that, worst case should the batteries go one day, he could sell me second hand batteries "at R1000 per battery" and also told me its not "all of the batteries that go at the same time" Worst case, he assured me that I could buy new batteries from him at R10 000. I eventually bought the cart at R40 000. When the cart was delivered to my house, I drove it around the block. My heart sank as the battery level went to 50% (after 10 minutes of driving it) and it became apparent that this cart would not even last 9 holes of golf. I immediately phoned Pierre, who basically told me it is not his problem. When I asked him for quotes for his second hand batteries, he simply ignored me. I pleaded with him to take the cart back (at R35 000) which he also declined, even saying "he does not want to do me a disservice of losing R5000!!!) The arrogance of Pierre is unbelievable. I ended up paying R20 000 for new batteries with an external provider (cheapest quote I could get) and to top it all off, the charger that Pierre gave me with the cart is also now not functioning. Please be aware of this man. When you buy a cart from him, take someone with who is knowledgeable with golf carts and who can test the batteries on premises. Pierre will do anything and say anything to make a sale, but afterwards, you are on your own.
